How We Got Here

Long before we were guiding our own children through the college application process, we were the go-to editors among our friends and colleagues. Families who engaged us were grateful for the support their children received in crafting their essays—and even more grateful to dodge the parent-child argument vortex. 
Through years of constructive conversations, we developed methods to help students identify their unique voice, point-of-view, and experience, while making them stronger writers. 
We believe that the right colleges and students find each other—provided the student offers a compelling essay that highlights the unique perspective they will bring to a university community.
